When we receive your registration form, we’ll reach out via email with some more information. We’re happy to go through any questions you might have via email, call or text.

Based on the information that you’ve given us and our instructor availability, we’ll match you with an instructor who matches your learning goals and has a personality that we think will be a good fit.

Once you’re matched with an instructor, we’ll get your first lesson scheduled! Most of our students take recurring weekly lessons. We’ll work together with you and your instructor to find a day and time that works for everyone.

Jessica is currently earning a Master of Music in Piano Performance at Longy School of Music. She has more than 10 years of teaching experience and speaks English and Mandarin fluently.

Each half hour lesson costs $75, no matter where you live, what instrument you play or how advanced you are in your studies. On average, monthly tuition is $300, but that can fluctuate based on how many lesson days you have in any given month. For more information about our pricing and value, click here.

Our teachers are local musicians and teachers. All of them have university degrees in education or music performance. Each instructor undergoes a rigorous background check and is required to be up to date with all CDC recommended vaccines. You can read more about our instructors and our vetting process here.

Yes! Our students have the opportunity to participate in a formal annual recital and regular volunteer performances in the community. You can read more about these performance opportunities here.

We allow our instructors to use whichever teaching curriculum they prefer. We trust them to adapt to your needs and help you reach your goals! Once you've been matched with a teacher, they will be in touch to let you know which books and additional materials (if any) you will need to purchase.

We recommend that students start with weekly, half hour lessons. From there, some students choose to increase the length of their lessons to allow more time with their instructor. For more information about what to expect from Haven Music Lessons, click here.

Haven Music Lessons was dreamt up in 2024 with the goal of making it simple for busy families to access high quality music education. With three little ones of her own, our founder Jacqueline understands the stress and demands of raising young children. She loves music and has fond memories of taking french horn, voice and piano lessons as a child. When her oldest started to show interest in the piano, Jacqueline began exploring the piano education opportunities nearby. She couldn’t find what she was looking for, so she decided to create it. Using her background in business and child development, Jacqueline has built a company that values convenience and quality for parents, and enriching, delightful experiences for children.
